If they don't already have one, Google nest is a good choice because it can do all kinds of things like make phone calls, play music audio books, and a host of other things. I use mine too call NFB Newsline all the time. A great place to look as well is maxiaids.com and they have all manner of things including games for someone who's visually impaired. Unfortunately, there isn’t really a good gift for the blind because we’re all different. We have different levels of vision, and have difficulty in different situations. We also have different interests and hobbies. For example, you might find me a nice Braille recipe book, and it would be fairly useless because I don’t use Braille.

So, as with gift-giving for anyone, you have to start with the person. If you can tell us what that specific person is looking for or interested in, I think we’d be better able to give suggestions.
