Should the Be my eyes app have the ability to take photos? (self.Blind)

it's my favourite thing about bespecular. I'd love a mode where an agent responds to a written/verbal question and a photo or series of photos, and lets me ask follow-up questions or add additional pictures. Live video is just not for me 9 times out of 10.

If pictures are taken on the app, I hope that they are saved on the camera role of the phone and not the app

Yes, what a waste of capability to not include it!

I would love this! For whatever reason I get a bit anxious using that app knowing I will be live with some random stranger. It still feels kind of weird. Being able to communicate via chat/photos would be really ideal in some situations. In others, the video conversation is great, of course

It might be useful.

There was an app called BeSpecular that did this. It isn't working right at present. Would I use it if be my eyes had it, for sure, as I used it a lot during xmas wrapping last year. I find BME agents aren't very good at helping with this task, but maybe if you could send a series of photos and a question it would be better?

The Aira app does it really well
