I just use dymo tape with a 1-line, 25-cell slate. Works great for me.

Wait do you have to use a certain type of label or can you just use regular ones you would buy at Staples or something?

I use the little wheel of tape that is made for braille label makers. I just find it much easier to braille with a slate & stylus than to wrangle with a clunky labeler. You could probably find the tape at Staples or anywhere that sells manual label makers. You can definitely get it at Braille Superstore, Maxi Aids, etc.

Gotcha. The labelers with the wheel you turn are absolute garbage, I've never had one that lasts.
