Accessible meditation app (self.Blind)
submitted by Stupid_Seagulls
Hey there, sorry for formatting. I'm on my phone. I was wondering if any of you know of any voiceover accessible meditation apps? With the new year ahead, I am looking to try and pick it up again. I have heard a lot of good things about Calm and I even have a yearly subscription that will be expiring soon, but with recent updates the app doesn't seem to be as accessible.
Any advice would be lovely. Thank you guys and have a happy Christmas if you celebrate.

Depends what you need. If it's just a meditation timer (bell) with maybe some background sounds, I'd give a try to Perfect Zen, or maybe Insight Timer. The latter has more features, but I find I don't need most of them and it's a little harder to use.

I was looking for more guided meditation, but if I ever decide to give a meditation timer a wirl I will keep those suggesttions in mind.

I only do guided meditations and I use Insight Timer with little issue on my iPhone 12 Pro. Over 100,000 guided meditations free. I’ve been using the app for years.

Might not be the answer you’re looking for but I just use guided meditations on YouTube. There is a ton out there.

Are there any specific channels you like? I have looked into it a little bit and I do agree with you that on YouTube there are tons of options
