TalkBack question (self.Blind)
submitted by chuckejeesus
Anyone using TalkBack get an update where clicking on anything doesn't make a sound after you double click and open it? Like the navigation menu on a website, or if I'm listening to something and click on the go back 15 seconds button. Or if I'm opening an app, there is a sound effect when the focus indicator lands on the app and then again once the app actually opens but not right after you click on the app to notify that I've clicked the button. And pretty much any other button. I'm new to screen readers but I couldn't find anything in the TalkBack settings to turn it back on. It stopped making that sound today after TalkBack updated for me with a few new features. Also I use a Samsung s10e if that affects anything

I have a Samsung Note 9... my Facebook posts aren't getting read to me if I use the screen reader that's built into my settings app.

Hmm I don't use Facebook often but I just went on the app and it seems to be reading my posts okay for me. Though the focus indicator encompassed the whole post including the name and time and content and comments underneath the post and I couldn't click on individual things like the like button, the account name, the Individual comment, ETC until I clicked on the post. Then after I exited the app and went back on it a second time, it did focus on individual parts of the post, which is odd. TalkBack seems to work weirdly with Facebook and sometimes with Instagram for me
