Dog Life access-ability (self.Blind)
submitted by Nisa4444
Recently, the developer’s of Bit life, a popular accessible mobile game, have just released a new game called Dog Life. Dog life appears to be set up similarly to Bit Life, however, It is not accessible at all. The in-tire thing is just one big direct touch area. We need to make the developer’s aware of this so that they can fix it. If you are reading this, please leave a review on the app asking them to make it accessible. It would also help to leave some posts on there official subreddit, r/BitLifeApp, or message the developer’s directly. There user name is BitLifeApp. Thank you for reading and helping to make the world a little mor accessable.

So, the reason that this happened is because they switched to Unity. We're lucky that they haven't updated BitLife on iOS in a long time, since they did a Unity rewrite of BitLife as well and if they ever update that again, the state of accessibility will be similar. I guess the best hope would be if they'd implement the Unity Accessibility Plugin.

Good to know.

This. I’ve been a BitLife fan since the app was released, and was very excited about DogLife. Sadly, despite r
The first app being very accessible, you’re correct that the new addition has zero support for us screen reader users.

Same. I’ve been going on there sub Reddit and asking them to make dog life accessible wherever I can. I have also contacted everyone I know and asked them to leave a review on the app asking to make it accessible. The developers need to fix this!

Oh, they're aware. Multiple of us have tweeted at them, gotten a response of "It'll be fixed soon" and nothing.

I haven’t heard a thing from them in reddit. I have been messaging them regularly.
