Sorry but asking for medical advice isn't permitted on the sub as we can't guarantee the accuracy or safety of any advice,. please visit your Doctor or eye specialist.

I understand that. I’m not asking any medical advice. Just wanted to know what would be the best approach to face my problem.

Do you have them all the time? Could be migraine aura.

They never left me since I discovered them ten years ago. They’re in where natural blind spot is but way bigger.

Doctors need symptoms and test results to know what to do, if they don't find anything it is hard keep doing exams from time to time and maybe one doctor finds something.
And, I hope it doesn't affect you, but I'm curious. How do you see those blind spots when you close your eyes? I have never heard something like that.

I remember when when I first discovered those were in their natural size. It was harder to locate. Right now I see those as when I close one eye, all of my fingers will disappear within arm length distance.

Did the neuro-opthamologist make any suggestions about what it could be? No doctor has been able to find a physical cause for it? What has your regular eye doctor said?
chintito4ever [OP] 1 points 1y ago
That’s the problem. None of the doctors I met till now didn’t want to listen to me beyond test results. They always rule out saying my eyes are perfectly fine. I even saw a neuro-ophthalmologist last week, he did the same but he gave multi focal ERG, it will cost me $400 but I’m gonna do it.

If the tests don't show any problems, that will limit what they can do. They can't treat a problem they don't see.

Did the neuro-opthamologist give any indication if there was something going on in the nervous system?

No they did not. They didn’t explain anything to me. That’s where my complaints are. At least I deserve an explanation. They could just say ‘live with it’. I’m giving up already.
