I am going to be a dad later this year and could not be more excited. I am wondering if anyone knows of any good resources or tips for looking after newborns/toddlers as a low vision parent.
I am in Canada and do plan to reach out to CNIB but wasn’t sure if there were other resources that would be good. Thanks!

Congrats!
There actually is a parenting with blind parents group that CNIB runs. It is virtual, I don't recall if they had in-person or not before COVID.
What province are you in? VLRO can also provide training (usually under ILS, or Independent Living Skills) for caring for children as well. (VLRO and CNIB are partners, but it's... complicated).

Can't really give you any tips for resources as I am not in Canada, but I am pretty damn close to completely blind and have a 5-month-old so all I can say is you'll do fine it's easier than you would think.

The Blind Parents Connect group on FB is quite good. There is also a Blind Parents Alliance group.
