reporter working on story about covid rapid test reimbursement inaccessibility (self.Blind)
submitted by vrknight100
Hi all! My name is Victoria Knight and I'm a reporter with Kaiser Health News in D.C. Here's a link to my stories: $1. I'm posting in here because one of my friends who is blind told me yesterday that her insurance company said they cannot reimburse her for her covid-19 rapid tests if she cannot print and mail the receipts herself, which is a task that she cannot do on her own. They won't allow her to email the receipts instead. She is requesting reimbursement from her insurance company for the covid-19 rapid tests the Biden administration has said insurance companies must cover. I can't interview my friend because it goes against journalism policy. But, I wanted to see if any of you in this sub have experienced something similar, and would be willing to talk to me about it for a story. If so, feel free to private message me or email me at $1 Thanks so much for your time.
