NVDA screen reader and Edit boxes (self.Blind)

This is for those who use NVDA screen reader.
Have you noticed NVDA not speaking in edit boxes, specially Google chrome and other such browzers?
I've faced this problem with editboxes similar to Google search box on google homepage, Google Translate edit boxes etc, Youtube search edit box etc.
Do you have any working solution or suggestion for this?
Edit: Both NVDA and Chrome updated to latest version.
Edit: it doesn't happen with Narrator, the problem continues after disabling all addons, the problem continues in incognito or guest mode inside browsers and it continues after running the Com Registration fixing tool. Also, nope, restarting computer didn't fix that either.

Yes, and I’ve been noticing this more and more. Sometimes it’s so bad that I will just compose whatever I’m typing in notepad and then copy/paste it into the buggy text field.

I started one of my online classes today and this was happening to me. I thought I broke it. I had to restart the whole computer for it to work right.

have you thought, of enabling the UI automation, in the advanced settings, and preferences of NVDA question? Let us know if you try this and if it helps.

I have with chrome. I prefer firefox honestly so don't come across this issue that much.

Not sure, but have you tried NVDA -> Tools -> Run COM registration fixing tool?

does it happen without addons loaded in NVDA or with Chrome working in a clean profile?

It happens even after disabling all of the addons, happens even after starting chrome in guest mode or incognito, and Narrator does speak in same edit boxes where NVDA doesn't.
Also, somehow Narrator reads in different voice while I am in edit box, not sure why. Totally hate 2 different voices for different elements.
