Does anybody know of some resources or books for a sighted person to learn braille?(self.Blind)

I'm a typewriter enthusiast and began collecting various machines in the summer of 2020. I learned typewriting over the past year. I recently came across the opportunity to purchase one of my dream machines, an old Perkins Brailler, at a really good price. Even if it's not technically a typewriter, I still think it's cool to have one. I don't know much about these machines, so I'd guess this one, in particular, was made in the 70s based on my research so far (I'll be pulling a serial number once it's in my possession). My hope is to fix the dents, tinker with the mechanism, and have it in good working order.
This leads me to my question: Does anybody know of any resources or books for learning to read and write in braille fluently for a sighted person? I'd really like to be able to use this thing once I have it working. I just think it would be a fun new thing to try and maybe come in handy one day. These Brailler machines absolutely fascinate me and I'd like to use mine for more than an expensive paperweight.

I think it's tempting to learn by sight only, but you may not be getting the full braille experience. If you're in the US, consider signing up for Hadley, which is an correspondence school for the blind. If you're not blind, there is a modest fee. They will send you materials in the mail, and you will have an instructor who will mark your activities and give you feedback. They're pretty great.
I second the recommendation for Hadley. their programs are great. There’s also an app for the iPad that I found helpful. It’s called Braille Tutor. Here’s the link
