Looking for a very specific talking clock (self.Blind)

My boyfriend remembers a tall, cylendrical-shaped clock that he says is screenless, tells the time, date, and indoor temperature, and has a very loud alarm that sounds like a smoke detector. The clock also has a remote control.
I'd love to know the brand/model of this clock. Thanks for any help.

Yep, I remember this, though not the brand or model unfortunately. I had two of them, and both stopped working shortly after I bought them. Either they had a design flaw, or I used a plug with too much output voltage.
