I’ve been looking for a magic solution as well, so following this. I’ve been using an app called Seeing AI, but it’s not foolproof, you kind of have to already know the cards for when it messes up.

I use lookout by Google on my Pixel 4, you have to be careful in tournament settings with things that modify the sleeves as that can be considered marking the cards. WOTC updated the electronic device policy earlier this year to allow the use of electronic devices during competitive tournament play, as long as the device is not hidden out of sight. So this would allow you to use something like lookout or seeing AI in a competitive setting whereas Braille sleeves will get you in trouble from marked cards. I would really like it if wizards would release an official card identifying app that would be better at telling you what cards you're pointing the camera at.

Does it read mana well

I haven't actually checked, I know it will read generic costs pretty well not sure on the symbols. But additionally because of the change in electronic device policy you are allowed to look up cards as long as you do it publicly if you are not sure on something, so you could double check the mana cost of anything you weren't 100% on.
