I'm assuming you don't use voiceover at all, so the phrase "direct touch" won't mean anything to you. Basically, direct touch makes it so that you can interact with apps even with voiceover on, by making the gestures and taps ignore voiceover. This is fine, when there are accessibility features built in. Now, it looks like the game works properly for sighted people but not for those of us that use voiceover. It might as well be a blank screen with random sound effects for us.
