About four years ago, I went to a concert in a smaller venue and I brought my cane with me. A few people behind me were complaining about not being able to see…so I turned around with my cane in hand and said, “Want to make friends with a blind girl? I can hit people with this thing so you can move up!”

That shut them up pretty quick.
