Hello. I am 20 years old and I am totally blind with no light perception. Just figured I would write an introduction so that people know me.

Hello! Welcome to r/Blind. Were you born with no light perception?

Hello, welcome to the community! I am 28 and blind central vision and low peripheral vision in both eyes - with severe light sensitivity, all due to retinal dystrophy. I am new here too. Glad you decided to share, it is good to have a sense of community! It gets rough dealing with blindness, indeed, but it makes it better when there is an ability to communicate these things. You are not alone. As my Grandpa always says, "never a better time to be blind". Technology is amazing these days.

Hello! I have congenital Glaucoma. It was stable for a very long while but in the last several years I've had several surgeries and still have pressure problems. I'm glad you're here.
