Anyone here receive a dog from guide dogs for the blind school, Thinking about getting my first one from there in the near future.

Do they pre-match you with a dog or are you matched on campus? What is the training experience like? And what are the rooms where you stay like?

Yes they prematch you before you go to campus based on your personality, life style, and walking speed (other things too those are the big ones)
The training experience is two weeks long. You can go to either the Oregon or California campus or do at home training. The food is amazing! The kitchen staff treats you like royalty and pampers you when you go, they won’t even let you bus your own plate. During those two weeks, you will orient yourself with the campus the first day and meet your classmates. Usually the second day is when you meet your dog. You do have to be a usual cane user in order to qualify for a dog from GDB. You will usually do about two routes a day varying from an exercise route to a traffic route. For me I did at home training this time around so my instructor came to my house and we had more personalized routes.
I have been to the California campus and the rooms are beautiful! The are spacious with I believe a queen sized bed. There a desk, private bathroom, and a back door that leads to the patio where you can relive your dog or play with other teams in the play yard.
