I have a good friend I've known for almost 10 years now that's 29 and has been legally blind since he was 18 from an eye disease.
This isn't tech related, but I think the biggest thing I learned was finding the difference between offering to be helpful and not infantilizing him.

Yes! This was a hard one for me and one I'm still working on but thankfully one I became aware of very early on. I'm just a worrier lol but getting better every day and he's assertive enough to let me know when I'm being too much, which I've made clear will never ever offend me.

yes yes that is who im talking about he is a great artist and in one interview he explains that if you just listen to people and songs they tell you how to rap haha but he loves music not just rap but his freestyle game is on point $1 maybe this one will load ita a beautiful song song title is "Blind Fury Sings an Original Country Song" idk

Go get rehab training at a place like the Louisiana Center for the Blind or Colorado Center for the Blind.
