Anyone know of an accessible Network simulation tool? (self.Blind)
submitted by blind_system
I've been trying to use packet tracer, but it doesn't seem to work very well with either NVDA or VoiceOver. I'm trying to use it for a networking class.

$1 might be relevant.

It appears that an accessible tool is available $1

I do not have experience with this project. Best of luck!

It wasn’t accessible when I got my CCNA back in 2018. I just use actual equipment in a lab to complete my work. Is that an option for you?

No, not currently.

I have an old Cisco router and switch. They are fast ethernet and a few iOS out of date but they are yours if you want them. Just collecting dust in my basement. I am in Rhode Island. Very heavy so I’m not sure what shipping would cost but free if you want them.

Hello
You can test the latest cisco packet tracer version, some elements are accesible only using mouse, if you have low vision maybe you will be able to navigate the ui
I finished a course where Packet tracer was used 3 months but I have low vision, I have done the work with nvda and mouse navigation
