Finally Got a Diagnosis. Does Anybody Else Here Have Recurring Corneal Erosion? (self.Blind)

After arond 3 months of waiting I finally got into an opthamologist. She diagnosed me with zero hesitation and referred me to a corneal specialist for laser surgery.

I'd been to about 8 drs for vision loss from optomatrists to neuro opthalmologist for vision loss and got no where. I saw them between sept 2020 to july 2021. The neuro opthalmologist said progressive vision loss the first time then the second time even though I'd lost more vision that he didn't see why I'd lose anymore. Most eye drs want you in and out. Some didn't even do any type of dilation, or really looked. One said I was just "ready for a prescription" :/ They gave me glasses that made things clearer, but I can't stand it because I still can't read the signs. What's the point. :/

Some win, some lose. I've got to the point in my life where I'm just thankful for what I've had and have. No point in stressing over shit I can't change.

Yeah, I feel the same way, prob never gonna find out what is causing it so just letting it go. :) I still see an opthalmologist twice a year, but that is all. :)

Even if I loose all my vision I'm glad I could see some most of my life. :)

I get those. I was told to use muro ointment. I also set my alarm for every 2 hours during the night and put in eye drops.

Ugh. I'm sorry. This shit really hurts at times. I use muro 128 and a room vaporizer when I sleep for the night, but not during naps. Sometimes I use replacement tears every couple hours. Sometimes not for a couple days.
I have a consultation with a specialist tomorrow. I assume to look my eyes over and set a surgery date. I hope the laser surgery makes my vision like it was before all this started.
