I'd love the ability to right-click an image in a web browser and ask questions about it of a sighted community. What does it say on this t-shirt? Could you describe this book-cover? What colour are these flowers?
And then of course, if there was already a thread about it from another person, I could read or join in on that.
I'd call the option accessible image discussion and it'd be a fab aid to me online.
How would I build it? Probably as a chrome extension to begin with, with a Node.JS, Python or rust backend hosted somewhere in the cloud. iOS is the most popular blind platform, so to expand to general requests rather than specific image URLs I'd need a proper iOS app. But I think I'd start with the browser thing. Not sure what goes into safari extensions, but I guess you could make it a more web-based app thing and use a bookmarklet to send the image URL come to think of it.
