Does anyone know a good place to look up contractions by dot number of each character or something? I’m still learning grade 2, and have been getting library books in Braille for practice but I come across a lot that I don’t know and would like to look up.
Incidentally, my favorite book they sent me this month is 101 Elephant Jokes, so here you go: How do you run over an elephant? Climb up his tail and slide down his trunk.
You’re welcome. And I won’t tell you how long it took me to read that one in Braille lol.
Funnily enough, I found a Pharmaceutical braille website with an accessible table of useful UEB contractions: Here's the site: $1

Not sure, wondering this myself as Hadley does not have a level 2 program currently.

You can search for different braille contractions on the $1, it has a list to browse, or you can search by braille cells, or you can search by transcribed letters. (Not sure how much if any sight you have, sorry if this suggestion isn't appropriate)

Doesn’t aph have a braille reference of some kind, I owned one. It’s a thin thing but it was in braille.
