Is telecommuting considered a reasonable accommodation when you are blind and disabled? I am legally blind and I have cerebral palsy.(self.Blind)

I am legally blind and I have cerebral palsy my work search has been limited to only work from home positions but I forgot about my rights at for Ada accommodations. Could this open up more opportunities for clerical jobs is that worked a job before where it could have been completely online I never left my office people always communicated e-mail or telephone and I was wondering if I could pretty much apply for any position that's mostly on the computer like. I do apologize if there is any grammar mistakes I'm using Google speak to text.

As far as I know it isn’t, I am not super up on specific accommodations when it comes to jobs, but I have never heard of anyone getting an accommodation like that.

Hi, you could call the HR department of the agency you plan to apply too and ask if they have staff that does telework. Better yet, find an employee at the agency and ask them if telework is an opption in their policies.

Unfortunately it isn’t. But after covid more companies are more interested in this option.

According to what? Should and reality sometimes is different. On the blindness side there’s no alibi. Maybe the other one. Based on blindness alone, no.
