Backing up and restoring bookmarks on the victor reader stream/ trek (self.Blind)

Does anyone know how to do this? I purchased a victor reader Treck and I am using my SD card from an older device on which I have books with hundreds of bookmarks
All of the books are accessible to me when I put the card in from my old device but none of the bookmarks are there? Help!

Thank you very much for your reply, that was helpful and now I have talked to Humanware support and found out in fact there is no way to transfer bookmarks, bookmarks are stored on the device itself and you are not able to access them for any kind of transferring
