I have a colleague that is blind and we work remotely, are there games like Kahoot that are inclusive of those that use screen readers? (self.Blind)

I've heard that some of the jackbox games are accessible but only by hearsay. r/audiogames might have nore detail.

Absolutely, I've played just about all of them since my SO got 1-7 in a Humble Bundle a few months ago. They're definitely worth trying, I find them super fun.

i'm sorry but i have no idea what Kahoot is.
But if you're looking for some fun games to play i can recomand Quentinc's gameroom.
it has bord and card games like 1000 miles, uno, chess,... and it is really accesible and even has a buldin screen reader.
Hope this is what your looking for.

Oh great I’ll check it out, thank you!

I should have expanded on what I was looking for. I was looking for games that I can play online with my colleagues as a short fun game before the start of our meetings. It can run for around 10-15 minutes and would be accessible for someone using a screen reader and those that aren’t as well. Kahoot specifically is a multiple choice game, where the faster you answer the more points you get (if you are correct).

ah i see
well than this might be what your looking for
not the most visualy atractive game but everyone can play .
Hope you have as much fun with it as we did during the stay at home times. :)

Kahoot is definitely manageable. All you have to do is make absolutely sure that the "see answers on player's devices" checkbox is turned on. Otherwise, the game is completely inaccessible.
Hope this helps!

Thank you so much I’ll give it a go!

It isn’t it is half accessible I tried it and it read some stuff but not really.
Bloodedparadox 1 points 1y ago
Its honestly lame every-time the teacher puts it on i just don’t participate

From the sounds of what they were actually achieving yeah, it was sort of silly.

But even if you did want to it didn’t work well for me so yeah, didn’t know what was there and couldn’t really do it.

And half of it is speed too and playing against a sighted partner they will always be faster.

Yup like don’t get me wrong its a fun concept and a great idea its just bot for people with our set of skills

I don’t know any but I just want to say you’re so sweet for going out of your way to find games and trying to include them.
