I was told that stem cells wouldn’t give me the peripheral vision my ONA took, because my brain never developed it. So I’ve not really been following the progress of it - it would be amazing if they found something to help people though.

Sorry but don’t hold your breath for too long. If it comes then it comes. But until then a lot of these are just false hopes and speculations and ultimately let people down.

Wow! Someone with the same condition as me. That's actually, really cool! :) A doctor mentioned that stem cell research was promising for OA, but that was back in the 2008-2011 area I think? He retired and we stopped going to the hospital so have not heard much since,
