New audiogame made by me, "fight!" requesting feedback (self.Blind)
submitted by rory-games
Hello,

This is my first project in quite a while, and I am happy enough with it that, on march 11 I decided to open up the game to public release.

The game is a battle simulator tool. You can simulate lots of different types of battles, with all sorts of team arrangements.

You can also fight in the arena to unlock more moves to add to your fighters and save them as presets for later, not to mention create your own moves.

In the future, I would like to release a mission mode, which is similar to a fight tower. In this mode, you battle ever-increasingly challenging opponents, and after each round you are given credits to upgrade your character. I will also be releasing an advanced custom move creation manager which allows you to create your own custom moves from scratch, so keep a lookout!

On March 23, the 1st stable version was released, and I'm taking a break from coding to ask for some feedback from the reddit community.

So, let me know what you think of the game!

$1

Note: the game is programmed in Purebasic, something which some antiviruses detect to be malware, even if it is not.

For this reason you may need to create an exclusion, but it's always good to run things in an isolated virtual machine just in case if this happens.

Happy fighting!

Not working for me. After extracting the files I get a Windows pop up message saying Windows has blocked a potentially harmful software program.

Hello,
As I stated in the post above, you'll need to create an exclusion for the program, since it's written in a programming language called PureBasic, which antiviruses do not like.
Sorry for this and thanks for giving the game a try.

Pretty cool! Going to check this out myself. Feel free to post this to /r/AccessibleGaming.

There seems to be a time lag between you selecting a move in a simulated fight, and NVDA reading the move aloud. Either that, or the move will not be read aloud at all.
