Four. One rigid, two folding, and one support cane.

I think I have 3 or 4. I have one I use all the time and I hang on to my old ones for backup. I have a couple of old ones in a closet at my house and I have another one at work just incase my new one breaks. I can also use them for parts if I need to.

I have one of the free rigid NFB canes (it was my first cane), an Ambutech slimline cane with a ceramic tip, and an Ambutech mobility cane with a rolling marshmallow tip.
I don't often use the rigid cane these days.

Just two.
My main one is an Ambutech with a huge roller ball. It's good for outdoor use.
My other one is an Ambutech Slimline graphite with a marshmallow tip. It's good for indoor use.

At least 4 currently, I think…
Free NFB
Ambitech graphite 5 sections from CBVI "too loose"
Ambitech graphite 5 section’s from CBVI "backup"
Ambitech graphite 6 sections, blue highlight, bottom section, high mileage rolling ball w/blue stem "main"

4 - 1 with a roller ball (my main cane), 1 with a rolling marshmallow tip (my city/shopping mall cane), a pink Ambutech cane with a roller tip if I'm feeling cute, and an all-black one because why not (which I hardly use). I want to get 2 more roller-ball canes to keep as backups in my parents cars, just in case I forget one.

2...old one for backup and new(ish) one for day to day use. I usually keep the new one in the car for when we go out of town or shopping, then old is in a closet (I think.. probably... I should check) for if I need to go out when my husband isn't home and i didn't think ahead.

Some agencies will take older donated canes. My agency will accept older canes to give to clients who can't afford them. We also sometimes dismantle the canes and use the pieces to fix canes (also for people who can't afford them). Pre-COVID, we used to have a coworker who went to Jamaica every year, and we would give her a bunch of canes for a school for the blind down there.
In one case, we dismantled two older canes to make one super long cane (70+ inches) for a client in a large power wheelchair. That was definitely a crazy cane, considering it was taller than me when unfolded.

Main Cane has had many fresh tips and many fresh pieces of bungee cord and quite a few new sections of tube recovered from old dead ones.
Truly it is the Cane of my Grandfather.

I usually suggest to clients to keep at least one or two, just in case their current one breaks or something. But if you have 15 lying around, may be helpful to clear out some space.

2. One is your basic white folding. Other black and my friend painted flames on it.
