Bit of a commute from Surrey, but maybe a waiter at the Dark Table restaurant?

It's one of those restaurants where you eat in the dark, because sighted folks are stupid and think food tastes different if you're blind. Nonetheless, seems pretty fitting for a young blind guy / girl.

Honestly your ambition to start looking is a big plus, the best advice I can give you, is to ask, go out talk to people, meet business owners, ask them questions, and if possible ask if they'll let you try stuff, the worst thing they could do is say no,
Out of the few jobs I've had my favorite was office work with a local disability center working as their receptionist
Another area I really enjoy is audio engineering and have had opportunities with my local community tv station to explore the field and practice in a few tv productions

How does getting a job help you with a school project?
And what type of work are you looking for or interested in? Working in a store, in fast food, in tech, or what? Mowing people’s lawns, babysitting, tutoring? Or what?

What skill sets do you have? That could help narrow some down choices.
Your age would also be a factor. In BC, the minimum working age is 16. I'm not sure how much wiggle room there is for that.
