Hey, does anyone in this community sew? If so, what tools do you use? I’m looking to take up sewing as a hobby and I’m trying to find tools and tips.

MaxiAids sells low vision/blind friendly sewing equipment. Can't vouch for the quality but they do seem to have a wide selection

Seconding maxi aids! I sew my own patches on my jacket + spikes and studs, mainly use a magnifying stand.

I sew. Still have pretty ok vision though in the right lighting. Currently the most difficult thing is threading needles and ripping seams since I can’t see the individual threads anymore.
ETA: magnifier that hangs on neck and rests on chest is helpful for me.
