I’m using the official iOS app for free in dark mode.

Which app are you using?

In Android...

Albinnibla126 [OP] 1 points 1y ago
It's the one I dld from Google play. I think I will ditch it and just use pc.

Or make sure you get the official app by Reddit.

Yeah was wondering the same thing. Not a problem in Android world either.
Albinnibla126 [OP] 1 points 1y ago
Hm... looks as though I have some tinkering to do...
Thanks!

Try other apps.

Idk what you're on about cause I am using the official app on Android and that's not the case at all.

I found dark mode. Thank you for your help.
DHamlinMusic 1 points 1y ago
Didn’t really do anything but sure lol. If you have apps that aren’t dark you can enable dev mode and turn on "force override dark" which will force it on all apps even if they do not have it.

They did what? That's a seriously asshole thing to do. When did this happen?

BTW, if you're using Reddit on desktop, install RES (Reddit Enhancement Suite) a free browser extension which has had darkmode for years.

I poked around and figured it out on my pc.
