Magnification on Android (self.Blind)
submitted by kelpangler
I just received a Samsung Galaxy S10 phone and I’m trying to set it up for accessibility. One issue I’m having is with magnification. I’ve found that I can magnify the screen by tapping on the accessibility icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, lift my finger up, then press back down and move my finger around. However, as soon as i lift up I have to go through that process again.

On the iPhone I could also press a similar type of button but it would magnify instantly so I could just toggle it on and off seamlessly.

Would someone give me tips on how I could customize this to fur my needs? Thank you!

Somewhere in the accessibility settings you should be able to activate that you can triple tap on the screen to activate magnifier. My phone is in swedish, so I dont't know the english terms.

In the same place you activated magnification, you can go into a deeper setting to turn on the triple tap gesture.

Go into the accessibility settings, search for 'magnification', tap on it, and than you can tap on 'activate magnification short cut'.
