So far in the previous monthly ones they have just been sort of meet and greet type things. We have discussed holding more structured events as well but as the discord is rather new we are still getting things sorted out as to how best to use it.

At least at first would be similar to the current monthly event that is just a hang out and chat on voice.

doesn't do it for me, sorry. I like the sub; technical questions, some interesting sophistry, the odd survey now and then.
I don't really have a drive just to hang out with blind people because they're blind, especially not on a microphone.

Yeah, I completely and totally agree with you, was trying to be polite though. I guess I could have added yeah, not sure if it is my thing or for me. Often I am seen as too serious and I don’t have anything to talk to them about or in common. Sometimes depends on the community they think I am boring or there’s just too much freaking drama. I won’t start telling you of my experiences. They have not been great. This is a pretty good blindness community who doesn’t seem to have issues with me, even though I know some of these people elsewhere, and no freaking drama.

A lot of other communities just get toxic fast and I am well yeah………… I know a blind guy who would agree with us or you. The I need to hang out with you because I am blind too doesn’t vibe with me. I usually don’t hang out with blind people and myself have very little blind friends because we’re both blind in real life. I have none I know really in my life some I’ve tried to be friends with. Online even though I know manhy more, but it’s because we share something or we get on well or something.
But all this to say yes I 10005% agree with you.
