I also can’t comment specifically on your question but fire tablets do have very good accessibility features. It has native Braille screen input. It can connect to Braille displays like the orbit reader. It does have the kindle app so I would assume they would include all the same features if not more on their own device. Also watch for sales. They drop the prices on Amazon devices all the time. If you can wait there is no need to pay full price.

It sounds like you want an Amazon Fire tablet. They are part of the Amazon ecosystem and can run the Kindle app. They come in different display sizes so you should be able to find the right size for you. They are also usually way cheaper than iPads or other Android tablets.
Good luck.

I don't read comics so I can't say for sure. I can say the Kindle app on my phone and on my Fire tablet works the same for the Kindle ebooks I read.

i havent looked at tablets in the past two years so i'm not sure if im barking up the wrong tree here or not but typically they use an LCD and not AMOLED like your phone so contrast won't be as good and the colours wont be quite so vivid. i checked amazon site and they don't say what the screen tech is, they just talk about it's resolution and pixels per inch.
i dont think ive actually helped you decide or narrow the choice down at all unfortunately.
