Windows virtual desktops (self.Blind)
submitted by Laser_Lens_4
I've been using virtual desktops on Windows 10 for years now. They're fantastic and let me break up workflows and are pretty much the closest thing we get to the advantage of multiple monitors. Only issue is that they're pretty limited, and so far I've not found an accessible way of moving apps between them. Anybody know more on how to take more advantage of them? Maybe a program that adds extra functionality and works with NVDA?

I don't know about a program to do this fast, but you can definitely move apps between them. Simply press windows-tab, arrow to the program, hit the applications key to open the context menu, and open the "move" submenu. You can now press enter on the desktop where you want the program to live. The context menu also has the option to show an application, or just the current window, on all desktops. You might always want access to your mail program, and this is a great way to do that.
