i have no experience in this, but i noticed there weren't many replies, so i had a think and a little search..
first thing i found was a youtube video that was for a different device but the main idea was to set the device into maintenance mode. then you can clean the pins whilst flat and then sticking out. using a 100% alcohol solution and a soft cloth. 100% alcohol because you do not want water ingress but alcohol will obviously evaporate and should be safe. lower percentage would imply water mixed in which is not good. applying the alcohol to the cloth, not pouring onto the cells directly, as that would probably give you a shock.

the second thing i found described "exercise the pins" as a potential fix, long list of instructions. i paste the first set of instructions below but there is also another set of instructions at the link so that you can send a log file to the manufacturer if this didnt fix it.
> Please perform the steps below to EXERCISE the pins and check all of them:
> 1. Power On the unit.
> 2. Enter into test mode (Press and hold space key + tap power button 5 times).
> 3. The unit shows the unit serial number.
> 4. Press space key, this will toggle all pins up or down.
> 5. Make a note of pins that are misbehaving if any
> 6. Press Select + down arrow key, this will automatically toggle all pins up and down. This may also help to recover the pins if they are stuck due to nominal dust in the pin movement path.
> 7. Allow the exercise to run for 4-5 minutes only and press select to stop the process
> 8. Restart the device and check if the stuck pins have recovered.

Do you have any lint-free cloths? It says you can use them dampened with water. The easiest ones to get are for cleaning prescription glasses. Often glasses shops will give them away (free advertising). Otherwise anything lint-free, they’re often sold for cameras or manicures lol
