Has anyone had experience with podcast/video recording software (e.g. SquadCast, $1, $1) and are any of these services accessible?

Of the services you mention, Remotely is the most accessible. I would also recommend you check out Cleanfeed, http://cleanfeed.net. It is audio only, but even the free version gives you unlimited recording with as many people as you like onto a single track. The paid version offers multitrack and a few more features. I produced a demo of Cleanfeed and an interview with its developers, who are strongly committed to accessibility, for The Blind Podmaker podcast, dedicated to blind people who podcast.
Our mission is to provide everyone with access to large- scale community websites for the good of humanity. Without ads, without tracking, without greed.
