Pretty darn cool.

Not to be a whiner, but you kids on Reddit talk way over my head too much of the time. It’s a bit embarrassing asking a simple questions but I’m willing to take the heat in case there’s anybody out there who doesn’t know what’s going on either. And how do I get my avatar to have cool things helmets etc. I’m just a yellow blob at this point.

Grandma here, what does voice dream reader do??
ivanicin [OP] 2 points 1y ago
It is the alternative to VoiceOver to access textual content like books, documents, internet etc. It works more like an audio player and audiobook. Overall it should provide a superior experience for most blind people in that use case.

If you have iOS or Android device you can use my app Speech Central (it has the same functionality) completely free and see if it helps you.

Thank you for that information. How do I find the dream reader on my iPhone? Tell me like you’re telling your grandmother. I don’t quite understand all of the technology. Thanks for your help!

You open the App Store. There you go on the Search. Then you search for Voice Dream Reader. After that you can click on Buy (it costs 20$).

I suggest you to search for my app Speech Central as it does the same and it is completely free for the blind people, so you’ll save money that way.
