OP, I am pretty sure w3schools takes you from zero. So do FreeCodeCamp, Odin Project , HTMLDog and all sorts of other resources. How proficient are you uin using NVDA?

Pick up a book and read about it? Why html? What about play with code and see how it works first? I found swift playgrounds to be really useful for this.

I'm sorry I don't have any experience in this. I'm just a random person with an interest in accessibility, especially for web pages and videos.
