Well, I have both an iPhone and a Google Pixel, and to me, there's absolutely no contest. My iPhone with VoiceOver is way more accessible than Talkback on Android: in terms of responsiveness, customizability, and features. From basic features like selecting, copying, cutting and pasting text, to the iPhone's ability to describe and read text from any image right inside your apps, to marking and dragging elements, to finding misspelled words, to responsiveness typing on the on-screen keyboard, iOS with VoiceOver just works so much better.
I agree Android accessibility has improved by leaps and bounds, but I still think for a blind user, if you were to use something like a stopwatch to measure efficiency, VoiceOver has a higher chance of pulling ahead.
But, like I said, I don't consider myself an iPhone fanboy. I prefer the philosophy of Android in many other ways.
