As for groups, sorry, don't know of any.

Most of us are learning through whatever resources we find online, accessible or not accessible.

Coursera and EdX do have lot of accessible free content, and some blind programmers have provided their free content on github and their personal blogs.

I don't think a common whatsapp or telegram group might work, as there are simply too many topics/branches in programming to be answered/helped with, and those platforms are instant messaging platforms. A subreddit dedicated to Differently abled programmers perhaps, Blind programmers, that has higher chances of helping newbes and everyone.

There is no WhatsApp groups, that I have heard of. But there is no reason we cannot start one

There is one I got invited on discord I need to find the way to share it with you but there’s a big discord server with some of the best one. My mentor recommended me.

He’s starting me on javascript first because that’s what he uses. And I don’t know maybe python or c++ the really good programmers they are sighted recommend c++ or c for a good foundation. I have many friends in that area. I think the discord is called programming for everyone?

My mentor doesn’t really have a very firm position on that but I think java script and python is more prevalent in the business world. And a lot of what I want to do is probably in business with assistive tech and such. Or even javascript web based or whatever. So it all depends.
