Lion doesn't seem to be getting love from the original maintainer at the current moment, there is an unofficial version out there though. Remote did get updated , but I'm not sure if the version on $1 was updated yet, looking at the actual code. IBMtts I don't know, but probably getting eloquence threshold is your best bet.

Overall though if you don't use Ms Office a huge deal, you can safely wait a bit until thee roughness dies down

I think they’ll have updated versions soon. But right now it’s better to stay with the older version.

Hmm, don't think anyone's pointing guns at someone's head to update their NVDA. It's a comunity led initiative, so these things happen. The old version works just as good as the new version.

The new version might introduced some shiney code, perhaps improoved security, a little bit of more speed. But, is it really worth to lose the important functionality of addons for this? They will be updated in a while soon enough, people are working on it.

Until then, keep the Addon updator addon installed, and update all of your addons as the updator tells you to. After 1 month, check if latest NVDA works with all of these updated addons, it tells you while updating. If they work, then update, if it doesn't, wait 1 month more and repete.

As it's a comunity led initiative, it won't be fair to shoot Emails asking addon developers, where's the new update support. They are doing all this on voluntory bases. All we can do is make sure that the tools available to us work for us in our ways. That might inclued a bit of enduring that new NVDA update available dialog box for a while, taking care of updating addons for a while.
