I've only used ChromeVox on my chromebook. It was okay for basic web navigation.

Tried a Pixel chromebook once, and once was enough to dissuade me from ever trying to take ChromeVox seriously again. Truly an awful experience all around.

Yeah, I use chromvox on chromebook. It’s pretty good for navigating. Never tried braille though but not opposing experimenting or trying. I haven’t used my chrombook all that much. It’s a toy really.
