Help? Running subs? On reddit Anyone else has issues (self.Blind)
submitted by [deleted]
I tried I really did. I looked on the reddit site on my mac. Dystopia can only do so much. It’s nice you can mod basically on the app in terms of deleting posts, locking, banning people, etc….

But when it comes to editing flairs. Filling out the sidebar. And other thins I am having a bit of trouble.

And the reddit website on the mac is soooooo confusing. I want to say I half don’t feel competent. I want to put up rules and. A survey on the sidebar on the sub I mod. But I can’t even manage to do this. I went in circles, pressed every button, then gave up.

We’re having a flaire issue putting up personal flaires on one of the 3 subs I now mod. I can’t help them because I can’t even figure it out myself!!!!!!

Sorry super frustrated right now.

Has anyone totally blind or else otherwise just depend on a screen reader full time managed to do this? Help?

I've modded r/odsp for 3 years entirely with a screen reader. I'm on Windows though, but if I can help, hit me up.

Sure any help would be helpful should I chat you.

First how do you edit and access the sidebar?

On new or old Reddit?

How about new? Or both? Is it better to use old reddit?

Old Reddit is more usable, but updating the sidebar on old doesn't transfer to new. It's kinda dumb that way. It doesn't go backwards either.

Maybe I should try there. Was having some issues on the mac don’t know if windows would get me any better luck. Does the clients on windows luna or reddit for blind has any better luck in these departments?
