need support system.. suffering from band keratopathy (self.Blind)

hi! I’m a new member here and I’m trying to find a support system from people who suffer from band keratopathy like me. how do you manage it? did you get it removed?

Mine is on my eye with no vision. It doesn't really bother me. However, every 10 or 12 years it starts irritating me and I get it removed. Although the last time it was pretty rough recovery, so I think next time, if it gets too unbearable I will just opt for the genteal gel. That stuff was the only thing that helped ease recovery.
