I want to learn a new language but I don't have any appropriate foreign language school here, what resources do you guys have or what tips can you give me, is there anyone here who has tried learning a new language by themselves? (self.Blind)

Hi

I use an app called Duolingo. No school is required and I'm learning Spanish. You can also go pro version as well. I love it.

You might want to try your library to see if they have anything. I like to try the free route first.

The Pimsleur method is entirely audio/oral. The “episodes” (daily sessions) are 20 minutes I think. you listen and repeat speaking out loud. Then it introduces a new concept and then just before the first things start to fade from short term memory, it starts making you recall to solidify it.

I’m not saying this is the best form of learning a foreign language by any means of the word but have you thought of trying Duolingo? I know that is accessible

I only have tried when I was cited I know it's pretty good regarding accessibility, but I don't know how far it can take me and also I just wanted to know if some other people have other ideas or Waze

It should be good for a while at least starting out. But for sure there is probably other ways to do so.

hello, what language do you want to study? I studied French online without having to go to a school in person and supported myself with YouTube videos. There you can find channels with very complete Videos to learn from the basics and advance in level, some even offer translation lists, exams and exercises that can be downloaded for free.

I feel like there has to be some kind of German association of the blind. If this is true, you might be able to reach out to them and ask for tips in addition to language practice partners.
It may not result in anything, but if it does that would be cool to just learn with a native.
