Thank You All For Your Advice (self.Blind)
submitted by Blind_Insider
today I want to thank everyone who supported me a few days ago with their advice to be able to cook blind. Since the weekend I have been practicing a little in the kitchen, I started with easy things like boiling an egg, making some scrambled eggs and a vegetable soup. It wasn't as difficult as I thought although at first it was a bit stressful but nothing I couldn't handle. I will continue practicing to lose more and more the fear of fire, hot water and oil. Well they say that a journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step and I already took it and I don't intend to stop.

Sometimes to start a journey we just need a little bit of encouragement and empathy. and I think that it would not be wise to not offer compassion when it’s so readily easy to do so. I am glad you at least tried some of the suggestion and had the bravery to begin the process. You can do this! Keep going!

Yay! Congrats on taking the first steps and for successfully cooking! Baby steps!

It’s funny because my vision has been corrected to a point where I’m no longer ‘visually impaired’ with glasses but still refuse to use the stove top or boil anything if I don’t have to!! Instant pot and air fryer are my go to! Boyfriend comes in handy for stove top lol!

Keep at it and wish you all the best!!
