NVDA messing with other programs shortcuts (self.Blind)

Hey guys! I'm trying to use the todoist program to make my to-do lists but NVDA shortcuts are messing up the shortcuts of the program.
Is there a way for me to disable NVDA shorcuts only in specific programs? Sleep mode kinda does that but it disables the speech as well and that's a problem.

is it a web-based environment? can you turn off browse mode, with NVDA+space, and then use keys as normal?
