Need help with anyone versed in disability regulations. (self.Blind)

Legally blind guy here, my wife is considering moving to Canada for a 12 month course, we are not legally married because they'll take my check however what are some loop holes for me to tag along? I know it's possible I just don't know how to do it

Would going to the boarder that divides Canada and the U.S. be possible. Then you could cross and go back every-once in a while to register that you are not staying in Canada for a year?

Yea, I could probably fly out to see family every three months or so
