Has anyone done a review and comparison with Seeing AI and KNFB reader or other alternatives?

I really don't know. They're each good for certain things, but it's always nice to have another app in the toolbox, especially since they're abandoned so frequently.

Not as good as seeing ai in my experience. But that was years back that I tried it, surely its improved by now. Wouldn't hurt to have regardless too though, never hurts having multiple tools of usability.

I use Seeing AI and Voicedream Scanner for the most part, but would give this another go after it becomes free if I had a need.

I actually kind of hate this. :( The same thing happened to Seeing Eye GPS, and Fleksy, and probably others. They cost huge amounts of money that I paid and now they're turning around and making that purchase useless. It's also often a code phrase for "we're not going to develop this much anymore".

Let's hope this app still prospers.

Honestly? This does seem to happen a lot, which eventually leads to the apps becoming abandoned, or they end up merged into other apps.

How is it that I'm just now hearing about this product?
